Blueberry Banana Smoothie

(Gluten-free, gout-friendly)

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen ripe banana

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1 cup skim milk

Bananas that are getting past ripe work perfectly in smoothies. Peel them, wrap them in plastic, and freeze them. Later, cut the banana into pieces. Or you can slice the banana before freezing. Then they'll be ready to toss into smoothies right out of the freezer.

Put all ingredients into a blender and puree till smooth. Pour into 2 glasses.
